Direct Loan Agreement (Mpn)

Students who lend a direct federal loan must complete a promissory federal direct loan master (MPN) note before they can pay credit money. Once a direct federal MPN is completed and the loan has been paid into your student account, you do not need to re-sign the direct mpn (it is valid for 10 years once your first loan is paid). MpN is an agreement to repay your direct loans as well as accrued interest and fees. It also explains the terms of your loans. You must sign a Promissory Note Master (MPN) before obtaining a direct loan. To complete the direct federal MPN, visit studentaid.gov. You need your FSA ID from the U.S. Department of Education to sign your federal direct MPN electronically. After signing up for studentaid.gov, click on the loan agreement and receive 3 types of MPN and you need to select the corresponding MPN for the type of federal loan (subsidized/unsubsidized, Graduate PLUS, Parent PLUS) for which you need to sign an MPN.
